Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach Elopement
This mini-elopement took place in one of the most iconic locations in Iceland on a cold November day in 2024.
We walked to the end of the beach to get away from the tourists so that Lisa and Ryan could read their vows to each other and exchange the rings being surrounded only by raw nature. The golden sunlight of the rising sun looked so magical that it was hard to believe it was real.
It was freezing cold outside but the fact that there was absolutely no wind on the beach allowed Lisa and Ryan to read their vows in their wedding attire. It was a very emotional moment for everyone filled with laughter and smiles as well as tears of happiness.
After that we headed to our next location which was Sólheimajökull glacier. It looked especially stunning and blue on that day making it an epic backdrop for our photos.
The wind was absolutely freezing cold but that didn’t stop Lisa and Ryan from having a few laughs and enjoying this beautiful moment to the fullest. This was definitely an adventure they are going to remember for their whole life!
